Photographed in my Wall, NJ studio, this session celebrated a mother expecting her second baby girl and the love already blooming between her and her two-year-old daughter.

Preparing for Baby Girl #2
There is something incredibly special about photographing a second pregnancy. The anticipation feels different—more grounded, more aware, and often deeply emotional. This mom arrived glowing with that quiet confidence that comes from knowing what’s ahead, paired with the wonder of doing it all again.
Her two-year-old daughter joined the session for family portraits, bringing a playful, energy into the studio. Watching her interact with her mom—tiny hands resting on a growing belly—was one of the most meaningful moments of the day. These images weren’t posed for perfection; they were guided gently to allow real connection to unfold.

Styling, Color Palette, and Thoughtful Planning
This maternity photoshoot was carefully styled around soft, timeless tones—whites, blush pinks, and delicate neutrals that photograph beautifully and never distract from the emotion. One of the most touching details was the matching dresses worn by mom and her older daughter. Seeing them side by side, dressed in complementary silhouettes, created a visual connection that felt intentional.
Before the session, we planned wardrobe options together during a consultation to ensure everything felt cohesive and effortless.
Soft fabrics, flowing lines, and gentle movement were key, allowing the images to feel airy, elegant, and timeless.
