I try to think of myself as an artist, not just a photographer. So I view my camera as my tool to create art.

Becoming a mother is one of the most beautiful experiences a woman can go through. However, amidst all the love and joy that envelops a new mother, something often goes unspoken – new moms tend to lose their sense of self.

When I had my child, I felt like my identity was entirely consumed by my new role as a mom, as if my only purpose in life was to care for my little one. Of course, it’s normal for your priorities to shift and your entire world to revolve around your baby. Yet, it’s essential to know that while you are a loving and caring mother, you are also a unique individual with your dreams, desires, and aspirations.

Years ago, when I first started my photography journey, I fell in love with macro photography.
Its intricate details and the unseen world were fascinating to me. I could spend my whole day in a park just photographing bugs and flowers.
Photography used to be a way to escape from reality, like meditation. It helped me so much during a challenging time in my life.

After becoming a mother and feeling like I was losing my identity, photography once again helped me. This creative outlet allowed me to explore and express myself in new and meaningful ways. I found great joy in connecting with other new parents, offering them the priceless gift of capturing their most precious moments. By helping others, I was able to find who I really was.

Photography allowed me to set foot on a new path, simultaneously embracing my role as a mother and creating my dream business. The camera became an anchor in the storm, a gentle reminder that we do not lose ourselves in motherhood but instead find new ways to shine.
