A Special Newborn Session for Violet
I recently had the pleasure of working with a family who has become near and dear to my heart. Just last year, I had the privilege of photographing their daughter as a newborn, and now, I was invited back to capture the arrival of their newest addition – a beautiful baby girl.
This session was especially meaningful, not only because it was a repeat client but also because her mom wanted to incorporate a unique personal touch to reflect their baby’s middle name, Violet.
I used a palette rich in purples, from soft lavender swaddles to deep violet blankets. The color choice added a touch of sentimentality, making each shot feel even more special.
Unlike my usual sessions at the studio in Wall, NJ, this session took place in the comfort of their home. It allowed for an intimate and relaxed atmosphere where the family could truly be themselves.
Being part of this family’s journey as they welcome their third child has been incredibly rewarding. I love witnessing how their love and connection have grown, and it’s a joy to help them preserve these fleeting moments. Each session is a reminder of why I’m so passionate about what I do – capturing not just images, but stories, memories, and the love that binds a family together.
I’m so grateful for the trust they’ve placed in me once again, and I can’t wait to see how these portraits will become treasured keepsakes in their home.
